维持F-1身份

F-1 international students admitted to the United States (U.S.) must meet the requirements set by the 学生及交流访问学者计划（SEVP）, a division of the 国土安全部（DHS）. The requirements are listed below and can be found on the SEVP网站.

  • 始终持有有效护照。
  • 招收 and Maintain my F-1 Visa Requirement of Full-Time Status in 12 units of “face to face “classes or enroll in 9 “face to face” units and one 3-unit “online” course to equal 12 units for every Fall and Spring semester. 本规定的有限例外情况需要LAMC指定学校官员（DSO）的书面授权。
  • 保持良好的学术成绩，平均成绩不低于2.0或“C”。

  • Obtain Permission to Add/Drop classes, which will be done 只有 with the approval of the 国际学生 Counselor and Designated School Official.

  • On-campus or Off-campus employment can 只有 be authorized through LAMC 国际学生 Program (ISP) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

  • 向ISP办公室报告姓名、美国地址、美国电话号码和F1学习计划的任何更改 十天。
