Tickets are now on sale for Los Angeles 大学的使命 Theatre Arts’ production of 三个姐妹, an original adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s timeless drama. Tickets range from 10 - 20美元 and are available at lamcstage.ludus.com.

Originally set in a small Russian town at the turn of the century, 三个姐妹 spans three years in the lives of the daughters of a recently deceased army colonel—Irina, Masha, and Olga—and their brother Andrey. 姐妹俩面对着一次又一次的失望，家庭关系紧张，一场毁灭性的火灾，以及安德烈的赌博威胁着他们的世界。

Playwright 朱莉克罗克特 reimagines Chekhov’s exploration of longing, loss, and change within a bold new framework set in the 1970s, infusing the story with music and raw emotion. Under 布莱恩Tichnell direction, this adaptation connects Chekhov’s anxieties about modernity with the tensions and transformations of contemporary life.
